On 4th March 2013 the Income Tax Assessment Amendment Regulation 2013 (No. 1) was registered specifying that the motor vehicle cents per kilometre rates for the 2012-13 income year are:

• Small vehicle – 63 cents per kilometre;

• Medium vehicle – 74 cents per kilometre; and

• Large vehicle- 75 cents per kilometre.
